Congratulations to our wrestlers on a great State Tournament! The KWLPG team placed 4th overall and 3rd in duals. Individual place winners – 1st – Kasen Konstanz and Kiana Major, 3rd – Grayson Hanson, 4th – Kyler Konstanz and 5th – Chase Varilek!
All of the vocal contestants from the contest held Feb. 16 are to report to the Music Room today during 8th period for a picture.
Tomorrow night Platte-Geddes will host the 2nd round of the Region 6 BB Tourney against the winner of the ACDC/Bon Homme game. Game time is 7:00 and admission prices are $6.00 for Adults and $4.00 for students.
Drivers’ education classes will begin next Monday, March 8. They are open to any student who is currently in the 8th grade or who will be 14 years old by July 1, 2021. The cost is $190 for students enrolled at PGHS and $240 for students not enrolled at PGHS. The sign-up sheet is in the principal's office. Please pick up a schedule when you sign up.
Attention Junior Girls: If you are interested in attending Girls’ State this spring – see Mrs. Hanson for an application.
The PG High School Trap Team will be having a meeting and signups for the upcoming season. The meeting will be held tonight (March 1st) at the Elementary School from 6pm - 7pm. If you are unable to make it, and plan to be a member of the team, please contact Leon Summerville at 680-1678 or Jeremy Rasmussen at 207-0364.
Track and Field will officially begin March 15th. We can officially start this week so if you want to start the workouts are hanging on the shed at the track and field complex. Coach Maxon will be at the track and field complex at 4:00pm Tuesday and Wednesday this week. If you have any questions please contact Coach Maxon.
If there are any high school students interested in going out for track that have NOT been out for a sport yet this school year, please contact the office for your paperwork – before you start workouts!
FFA members - if you are attending the CDE on Monday (March 8th) you must have your make-up slip turned in to Mrs. Hubers by the end of the day Friday; no slip, no trip. The bus leaves at 7:40am. Please bring money along for lunch.
