Hanson Classic Participants and Attendees:

We want Saturday to be a safe day for all participants.  Please refer to the guidelines regarding the Hanson Classic’s. 

Below are guidelines to follow. 

Restrictions within the Corn Palace are from the City of Mitchell as well as the Hanson Classic’s.  

Ø “Face Masks or Coverings are required unless social distancing of 6’ can be maintained”

Ø “Exceptions include those under 5 our those actively participating in an athletic or sporting event or consuming food or drink”

“Other mitigation strategies put in place by the Corn Palace”.

·       The Corn Palace has installed a building wide Air Purification System, same as in a hospital.  It recycles the air and kills virus molecules.

·       We clean and sanitize the locker rooms and player’s seats between teams

·       We provide hand sanitizer and masks throughout the building and at the scorer’s table

·       We announce to the crowd the mask policy before games

·       We keep athletes and spectators separated by restricting access to the back hallways
