TODAY’S DATE: FRIDAY, MARCH 6^TH                                     

You don’t lose when you fall, you lose when you stay down.

Any HS students that still owe a DETENTION at the end TODAY will have NO OPEN CAMPUS LUNCH starting Monday until your time is served.

JUNIORS: You have through TODAY to use your 3^rd Quarter Prom open campus periods that you earned.  On Monday, the 4^th quarter days will start.  Stop in the office to check on your days if you have questions.

FFA members — If you are competing in the Bridgewater-Emery CDE on MONDAY, your make up slip must be turned in by TODAY.  The bus leaves at 7:30 am and you need to bring a pencil, calculator, and money for lunch.

Ag Mechanics CDE team members --- We will meet on WEDNESDAY during SRB to go over scores and study for the next CDE.  Attendance is required! 

FRESHMAN: On TUESDAY, we will take a class shirt picture in the gym during SRB.

The following band students will take part in Middle School All-state Band TODAY & TOMORROW:  Jordan R. Kira K. Mya B. Penny F. & Ngan T.  We will leave at 10:00am!  Please remember to pack a lunch to eat on the way.  We begin rehearsal right after lunch.  The concert is at 2:30 TOMORROW!  Turn in your make-up slip before you leave!

The spring play cast list is posted in the office. Pick up a rehearsal calendar and contract. Books will be here next week.

ATTENTION ALL BAND STUDENTS: This is the last weekend selling band chocolate!  Next week Tuesday, March 10, your chocolate money and remaining chocolate need to be brought to band!  Thanks for your great efforts selling this year!  

BBB PLAYERS: There will be an end-of-the-season meeting after school on Tuesday, March 10^th in Mr. Neuman’s room.  Please remember to bring your jerseys.

Returning Lifeguards or students interested in becoming a Lifeguard this summer, please stop in the HS office and pick up an application.  Applications must be turned in by March 30^th.

High School Track and field practice will begin March 9th at 3:45pm. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Matt.

Any JH or High School kids that would like to sign up for GOLF, there is a signup sheet outside of Coach Bonte's room. Please sign up. There will be a player meeting on March 16^th after school in the High School Gym. Thanks.

FFA MEMBERS -Sign-ups for all CDEs (minus the district qualifier) are now hanging in the ag room.  Please get signed up ASAP....don't forget to check your schedules as you sign up because we are required to pay for the registrations even if you don't show up!

Tri-Valley CDE - March 23^rd (registration closes March 13th)

Parkston CDE - March 30^th - sign-up available - this is our qualifying event for State Convention

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: The 7-12 CONCERT SHOWCASE CONCERT is coming up on TUESDAY, MARCH 17!  This year, we have guest director, Bob Goheen, coming to work with our high school band from 2^nd hour-7th hour on that Tuesday.  The 7^th & 8^th grade band will come in 8th hour and get to work with him for one period. At the evening 7:00 concert, Mr. Goheen will direct the high school band on their Region Contest Selections (we take these to Contest the next week for a rating).  The 7^th & 8^th grade band will also perform and be directed by Mrs. De Jager.  If you missed hearing our high school solos and ensembles perform at Solo/Ensemble Contest two weeks ago, these will also be played at the evening concert!  You won't want to miss it!!!!
