📝 Step-by-Step Directions: Free/Reduced Lunch Application via Infinite Campus

Step 1: Access the Infinite Campus Parent Portal

1. Open your web browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox).

2. Go to the Platte-Geddes Infinite Campus login page:

   • https://plattegeddes.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/parents/platte_geddes.jsp

3. Log in with your Parent Username and Password.

   • If you don’t have an account, contact the Platte-Geddes School Office at (605) 337-3391 for help setting one up.

Step 2: Navigate to the Application

1. Once logged in, click the three horizontal lines (menu) in the upper left corner of the screen.

2. Select More from the menu options.

3. Click on Meal Benefits or Meal Applications, depending on how it is labeled in the system.

Step 3: Begin the Application

1. On the Meal Benefits page, click "Click here to start the application process."

2. Read through the instructions carefully and then click Next to proceed.

Step 4: Household Information

1. Enter the number of household members (including all adults and children living in the home).

2. Provide gross income for each household member (before taxes or deductions).

3. If anyone receives SNAP, TANF, or FDPIR benefits, enter that information where prompted.

Step 5: Student Information

1. Add each child in the household who is enrolled in Platte-Geddes schools.

2. Confirm their school and grade level.

Step 6: Review and Submit

1. Review all entered information for accuracy.

2. If everything looks correct, sign the application electronically.

3. Click Submit.

You should see a confirmation screen once your application is successfully submitted.

Step 7: Monitor Status and Follow-Up

1. You can return to the Meal Benefits section to check the status of your application.

2. If the school needs additional documentation or verification, you will be contacted.
