Safeguarding SD's Youth Presentation

The Platte-Geddes School District invites parents and community members to attend a public presentation focused on protecting youth in today’s digital world. The presentation will address topics including online tactics used by predators, how to spot and report exploitation, community partnerships working to protect South Dakota’s kids, and practical ways to talk with children about staying safe online.

The presentation will take place on Monday, February 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the Platte-Geddes High School Gym.

Presenters include Mary Beth Holzwarth, Human Trafficking Coordinator and Analyst with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and the South Dakota Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and Doris Cardwell, Executive Director of South Dakota Kids Belong.
