The Platte-Geddes School District is inviting community members, parents, and staff to participate in a brief School Bond Survey to help district leaders better understand community perspectives following the recent school bond vote.
The survey asks participants to share feedback about their experience during the bond process, including how they voted, whether they felt informed about the proposal, and what additional information or communication may be helpful moving forward. The feedback gathered will help guide the district and school board as they consider future planning and next steps related to school facilities and long-term needs.
The district is committed to hearing a broad range of perspectives from across the community. Honest feedback, whether supportive, critical, or somewhere in between, will help ensure that future discussions reflect the priorities and concerns of the community.
In addition to the survey, the district will be organizing community focus groups and meetings in the coming months to continue the conversation and gather more detailed input. These discussions will be structured to encourage respectful dialogue and thoughtful participation from individuals with a variety of viewpoints.
Individuals who are interested in participating in a focus group will have the opportunity to indicate their interest within the survey.
The survey is anonymous and takes only a few minutes to complete. The district encourages anyone connected to the Platte-Geddes community to participate.
