The Good News Call this week is going out to Kayson Severson. Kayson is observed on a daily basis at school to be a sweet, kind, considerate, and caring person. He is continuously concerned about the feelings of other children around him and displays kindness to everyone at school every day. When something needs to be done, in his classroom, the hallway, the playground, or the lunchroom, he notices and kindly assists the teachers with the task. Yesterday, Kayson brought a special show-and-tell to school, a new light saber. He noticed that a student was having a rough morning. So, he kindly asked the child if he wanted to hold his light saber and to try it out. Because of the kindness shown to him by sweet Kayson, the other child had a wonderful day. (Such an example of a small gesture of kindness truly turning someone else's day around.) Thank you, Kayson, for being such a sweetheart every single day at school!!
The 5th Graders celebrated their "100 Day Homework Challenge" completion. Congratulations to these kids for rising to the challenge and earning the bowling party!

"Hats for Houston"
On Thursday, March 3, 2022 as part of our FFA week, we are requesting that everyone wear a "Hat for Houston". Houston is a 2020 PGHS graduate and was recently diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy, which is a kidney disease. He is currently receiving dialysis until he is given a new kidney. We are asking for a suggested donation of $2 which will be given directly to Houston and his family.
