Due to the incumbent weather and dramatically cold weather for today and tomorrow, all activities scheduled for today and tomorrow have either been cancelled or postponed. The junior high basketball games scheduled for today in Burke have been postponed. We will notify you when a new date has been determined.
Platte-Geddes Schools will continue with a 10AM start on Tuesday, January 9. We understand that not all country roads have been plowed and we will excuse students that cannot attend school today. We simply ask that you notify the school if your child/children will not be in attendance. Thank You!

Our second graders and fifth graders had a special visit this week from Sergeant Lantz, Sergeant Monger, and their canine Dax. Thank you for visiting and for bringing Dax to see the kiddos.
Our second graders finished their Christmas Around the World Unit with guest speaker, Iris Huezo, who grew up in Mexico. The kids had many great questions for her and she was a very informational speaker. Thank you for coming to Platte-Geddes Elementary, Iris!
Festive Sweater Day was a hit at school!! The kids looked great! The upper elementary kids also enjoyed a lunchroom visit from former Ohio State FB player (and cousin to Maisey Suits) Kamryn Babb. He joined us for a few photos so please show them to your kids.
