The school bond election will take place on Tuesday, March 3rd. Voters may cast their ballots at the Platte Community Center or the American Legion in Geddes. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at both locations. Below are the official Notice of Election notification and a sample ballot.
In-person absentee voting for the upcoming school bond election to be held on March 3, 2026, is available at the business office in the Platte-Geddes High School, 400 S. Illinois Avenue, Platte, SD. In-person voting may take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. until March 2, 2026. Qualified electors who are unable to vote at the regular polling place on Election Day may vote absentee in person during the times listed above. Voters will be required to present a valid photo ID. This is a reminder that our School Project(s) and Bond Vote Informational Meeting will be held this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Gym.
We encourage all district patrons to attend and learn more about the proposed projects, the scope of the work being considered, and the details surrounding the upcoming bond vote. This meeting is intended to provide clear information, answer questions, and ensure our community has the facts needed to make an informed decision.
