Congratulations to Jase Griesse for being chosen for the first Good News Call of the school year! Jase displayed all 4 expectations of The Panther Way by providing assistance to another student when coming in from recess. He was kind and calm. He followed directions. He ensure that he and the other student were safe; and he was respectful for being an amazing friend. Thank you, Jase, for setting an example for our students!
Attention former football players and families, the team is missing several pairs of black game pants. They need them returned immediately. If you have a pair, please bring them to the elementary school by 6:15 tonight or to the athletic complex after that. Thank you!
A striping crew will be in Platte this weekend to paint the new parking lots. Please, do not park in the north or northwest elementary parking lots on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Thank You!

Attention football fans, there has been an addition to the varsity football schedule. The Black Panthers have added a game against Lyman County on Friday, September 27. The game will be played in Presho, and kick off is scheduled for 7pm.

The P-G Athletic Boosters Annual Tailgate & Membership Drive is this Friday (8/23) during the home football opener against Gayville-Volin. They will be serving walking tacos and a drink, starting at 5:30pm. Also make sure to turn in your bids for the sports tower boxes to Dakota Food & Fuel by noon on Friday. Hope to see everyone there!

Just a friendly reminder: Open House will be 3-7PM, Tuesday, August 20th. We are encouraging all students and parents to attend. If a student does not attend, they will not get class schedules or laptops until the first day of school. 6th grade orientation will be @ 5PM, and 9th Grade @ 6PM. Both in the HS Library. Thanks.
Good Afternoon, ALL Middle School and High School students, traditionally, we have had registration the week before school. Due to some unforeseen office delays, and waxing of the floors, the school is going a different route. Tuesday, August 20th from 3-7 PM, there will be a "Back to School kickoff", where all students and parents should come to the school for open house. Students will check out their lockers, computers, and receive their schedules that evening, along with other stations such as Lunch Accounts, band fees, etc. Incoming 6th Graders will have an Orientation at 5pm, and incoming 9th grade will have an orientation at 6pm, both in the HS library.
